Jeff Tessier is an accomplished manufacturing engineer with over 30 years of experience. He has worked on everything from parts on lawn mowers, to parts on the space shuttle. The largest chunk of his career has been with Synthes, USA, working with mainly titanium , and stainless steel implants for human surgical fixation. He started working with custom bikes over 10 years ago from his own personal shop.
Some of Jeff’s accomplishments include:
- State champion of VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America)
- Society of Manufacturing Engineers – first place for project design and Who’s Who of American Inventors
- Three patents to his name in the fields of medical, aviation and machining technology
- Attended UBI (United Bicycle Institute) in Ashland, Oregon where he earned his certification in titanium bike building
Jeff has been known for his bike designs and craftsmanship which comes out in the bikes themselves, because he typically spends up to three months designing and building a single bike. He particularly enjoys working with titanium because of the natural beauty of its welds.
Jeff is also an avid cyclist including both road and mountain biking. His love for the sport comes out in his bikes, and because he builds bikes as a passion rather than an income, he is only able to take on a limited number of clients a year. Every year Jeff participates in many charity event rides throughout Colorado.
